Sometimes, all it takes is just meeting the right person.

Both singer/guitarist Coen van der Horst and singer/pianist Dennis Jansen have been writing songs for a good long while. For Dennis, he wrote, produced and mixed his own songs until they were finished… only to put them on a hard drive ‘for later use.’ For Coen, being somewhat bummed out after his solo-outing never seemed to quite take off, writing songs had taken an almost definite back seat.

But when circumstances happened to bring the two together, they found out that writing songs went quite naturally and soon they were sending demos back and forth.

It didn’t take long for the duo to work out those demos together, start writing new songs, and pick three songs to record in an actual studio. Their first single, ‘Somersaults’ was released in May of 2022, with other singles ‘Paralysed’ and ‘M’ following in the later months. Slowly but surely, they gathered traction on Spotify and attracted new fans, leading them to release their first EP, ‘Last Long EP’ in January of 2023.
